Innovative brand Barn in the City offers a new take on design by blending aged barn wood with modern designs and contemporary finishes.
Studio MHNA’s Decca inversion collections
Inversion, Marc Hertrich and Nicolas Adnet’s first residential collection, reflects a vibrant French spirit, balancing classical silhouettes with contemporary flair. In the tradition of acclaimed French cabinetmakers, the duo thoughtfully incorporated exceptional veneer craft and finishing into each new design.
The Inversion collection is a large community of furniture. The pieces are very diverse, yet all have a genuine family resemblance. Some are meant for daily use, whilst others are intended for occasional use, and all are designed with savoir-faire and elegance. They combine the beauty of the lines and the richness of the materials. New contemporary ‘family furniture’, easily becomes part of today’s interiors, whether in classical or contemporary atmospheres.
First of all, the ARCHE Family, highlighting the very thin and sober metal frames, supporting wooden boxes and tables tops adorned with a very distinctive checkerboard pattern. This family includes cabinets, consoles, coffee tables, square and round side tables, and multi-function cabinets.
The second family is the more feminine one, called GRACE. It is composed of silhouettes and curvy legs stylishly supporting inlaid wooden table tops and boxes, where decorative painted finishes contrast with the wooden grain. The GRACE family models are available as curvy cabinets, mirrors, multi-function cabinets, round side tables and coffee tables.
The SPIRAL family, comes either in the form of columns, with two circular cabinets (large and small), or in a bracelet shape for the coffee table and console. With these latter items, the golden lacquer contrasts with the inlaid wood.
Lastly, the NEST family is devoted to seats, and comes in a range of sofas, armchairs and benches. The concept is that the legs encircle and support gracefully the upholstered and very comfortable seats.
