Alma Design furnishes an exclusive apartment in Milan
From the windows you can see the most famous monuments in Milan. The spires of the cathedral, the powerful volumes of the walls and the towers of Castello Sforzesco are the wonders of the panorama that can be admired.
Outside there is the historical city, his urban fabric of houses spaced out from little courtyards. Inside, instead, is discovered a contemporary interior design, dominated from pure lines and little chromatic details.
The project by Mario Mazzer Architects for an attic in the very heart of Milan starts from the reconsideration of two unit, connected in order to create a new home with an elegant and balanced atmosphere. The wide living zone, that occupies the space previously dedicated to the balcony, stands as the center of the house “life”: kitchen, dining room, living room are part of the same environment, articulted by elements and materials that indicate the different uses.
The white walls and ceilings contrast with leather panels, with metallic inserts or wood boiseries for a sophisticated and rational effect, where the decoration is guaranteed by the properties of every material.
The elegant combination of materials, concept on which the entire project is conceived, also returns in the armchair Lips by Alma Design, designed and choose from Mario Mazzer in order to furnish the dining room.
Lips is in fact characterized by a shell that outside is a precious case in bent wood while, inside, is upholstered in order to assure maximum comfort. The frame of the armchair used in this project is in ash wood stained Iron grey with covering in velvet fabric anthracite color: a combination that confirm the design of Mario Mazzer Architects, based on an international style, inspired from details and solutions entirely “Made in Italy”.
