White, the non-colour that symbolises luxury
An awe-inspiring, captivating setting was on display in the monumental venue of the Sala Della Passione in the Brera Pinacoteca for the Milan Fuorisalone.
Those of us who took part were excited by the "mise en scene” of furniture, materials, finishesand textures with white as a common denominator for a new idea of cultured, refined luxury.
Gruppo Euromobil,as sponsors of art and design shows throughout the world, could not miss this opportunity to be one of the protagonists of “White in the City”, the most popular event during the 2017 Milano Design Week.For “White Luxury” it presented its prototype of the Arte kitchen designed by Marco PivaforEuromobilcucine.
Like an ideal showcase, with decorated walls, friezes, stucco and an imposing staircase made of entirely natural white materials, the BreraSaladellaPassione hosted Marco Piva’sinstallation, which staged the theme of luxury in white by means of objects, complementary decor items, and in particular a white prototype of the “Arte” kitchen designed for Euromobil cucine and presented at the Salone last year.
The Sala della Passione also hosted a white version of one of Désiréedivani’s best sellers, the Rollking sofa, comprising padded elements enhanced by deep buttoning done entirely by hand, one of the distinguishing features of elegance “Made in Italy”.
