Ultra Violet has been recently chosen as Pantone colour of the year, but it’s influencing everyone already, from design to fashion and art.
Festive stripes - Normann Copenhagen Christmas editions
For 2017, Normann Copenhagen’s Christmas Candle is taking a colourful turn with chic, coloured stripes in two different designs.
Jolly is a happy, multi-coloured pattern of narrow lateral stripes against a warm, grey background, while Keep it Simple is a muted composition of vertical stripes in dark bordeaux and light lilac. Two warm and balanced prints each with their own character, sending word that Christmas 2017 is going to be colourful and completely its own.
Include the striped candles in your decorations and still lives, or keep things simple and combine them with a minimal, graphic candle holder. The Heima block candle holder, a faithful companion to the Christmas Candle, is now available in a number of new and complementing shades, and the new cast iron candle holder Fe is a stunning match for the coloured candles.

But the stripy pleasure does not stop there! This year, the Christmas Candle is accompanied by a festive collection of napkins and wrapping accessories. The striped prints recur on decorative napkins that add colour to the season’s festive gatherings around the dining table, but which are still so timeless that you can use them all year round.
No Christmas is complete without presents – and it is all the better if they are beautifully wrapped. Fortunately, the 2017 Christmas collection also offers a number of new wrapping accessories. Striped wrapping paper, coloured cotton ribbons, and tinselled greeting cards that glitter away in unison with the Christmas decorations and lights. The new designs come in shades of cream yellow, emerald green, and rose. Mix them with the existing Daily Fiction range and create your own personal wrapping style.
