Oriental in tones of blue and white, is the new table set tribute to the Japanese tradition.
Mohebban Milano: new collection EDITIONS
MOHEBBAN Milano concludes its participation in Maison & Objet 2019 with a great response from the public that was able to appreciate both the EDITIONS series (the collections born from the collaboration with designers) and the COLLECTIONS (conceived and designed by the in-house team).
Among the collections the LOFT Abstract had a great success. This collection reinterprets and actualize ancient decorations in an abstract vision where the colors, like on a canvas, are composed in an apparent randomness, creating plays of light with infinite shades.
Mohebban Milano is a brand that has succeeded in winning over the international public due to the wide range, the transversality of the decorations and the production flexibility. Now in its third generation, the brothers Daniel and Michael, having embraced the textile tradition of their country of origin, Iran, based their production in India and Turkey, places of productive excellence to create precious and complex patterns. A true artisan laboratory to guarantee high quality.
We recall the five EDITIONS presented at Maison&Objet:
NOMADISMI, design Elena Caponi
Suggestions, tales and forms meet up to create carpets full of chromatic and tactile contrasts. Travel amulets held together by a long thread that unveils a central heart gently closed by a tassel.
PLANO, design Miguel Reguero
A creative interpretation of the architectural designs that form the city of Milan. At a deeper look we find hidden spaces, secret gardens and beautiful courtyards, unique to their environment, accessible only to the privileged few.
PROFUMO, design Marta Giardini
Vibrant shades in bamboo silk and soft wool join forces to create images and patterns inspired by plant life, using age-old artisan crafting.
SOMBRA, design Miguel Reguero
This collection of rugs and cushions celebrates the points of encounter between architecture and nature. The rational linear shapes contrast with the free arrangement of the materials.
TERRAZZE, design Elena Caponi
Elena Caponi looks to the metropolis with the eyes of a skilled photographer. Her first passion then left out to make room for other adventures. From her research emerge six urban places, defined by abstractions and unique colors, transposed in fabric and stitching.
