The first collection of flower vases designed by Calvi Brambilla for antoniolupi is inspired by the famous phrase of Federico Fellini's legendary film.
Parquet as an art
Listone Giordano and Giorgetti give life to Godron. The new and evocative product designed by Giancarlo Bosio invites you to travel on multiple dimensions...
After the great success at the Salone del Mobile of Milano, Listone Giordano, reference brand in the design parquet sector, and Giorgetti, present Godron. It is a deeply evocative product with a strong decorative value that brings a touch of genius to the wooden surface designed by Giorgetti to embellish living spaces, both classic and refined at the same time.
Quality and innovation, these are the key words of this architectural cladding in Canaletto walnut (natural or grey), obtained through different laying methods that using triangular and rhomboidal panels (the latter with or without chamfering) are able to give life to multiple original and engaging combinations and patterns. But why Godron?
"Godron" derives from the old French goderon, a model of ornament in the form of a hollow or protruding molding, or of groove in relief, ovoid in shape, used to decorate the bounced belly of a vase or the convex surfaces of moldings. A technique that can be found in inflated or crossed ornaments, positioned at the edges of silver plates, watchmaking services and much more.
This decorative motif could have been present in designs for houses, generally vertical, but also iron and round folds with strawberries and crops. It is also said of the form given to the collar of the Renaissance costumes.
It is not the first time that Listone Giordano mixes cards to create innovative symbiosis. In the past, introducing laser engraving in the creation of his flooring, he had created truly avant-garde collections and with Godron he is not far behind.
This latest innovation plays on the geometries that become art thanks to the tiles and the 3 different effects of gloss and saturation of the Canaletto walnut color.
