Design: Giuseppe Viganò
Lightness is the distinguishing feature of the Lars sofa, designed by Giuseppe Viganò. This feeling of lightness is also achieved thanks to several shape-related features: the armrests are tilt slightly outwards; the feet are made up of a slim metal line which give the sofa a suspended appearance; the cushions in two different sizes create movement and convey an idea of comfort and relaxation. Lars sofas are available in two different backrest heights (tall or low). The low version affords maximum modularity: indeed, the collection comprises several items including chaises longues, single-seater units and poufs. The feet are made of matt painted metal in anthracite grey, dove-grey, black, white or amaranth. The down and polyurethane padding can be upholstered with removable fabric or leather covers. In addition, Lars can be teamed with the Fard coffee tables, with a painted metal frame and wooden table top, which are available in four different sizes.
Structure sofa and armchair
Design: Alain Gilles
Structure is the new collection of padded products designed by Alain Gilles for Bonaldo, which includes sofas in various sizes and an armchair. "The Structure Sofa was conceived on the basis of an idea of playing with the frame of a classic sofa, of "opening" it up to reveal a softer interior and of creating dynamic motion between the seat and backrest", is how Alain Gilles describes his concept. As its name clearly suggests, it is the very structure that defines the logic of the products, where the metal core is sometimes evident, others partly concealed, thereby giving the sofa or armchair an absolutely informal appearance. The Structure collection is made with metal legs which can be painted anthracite grey, white, dove-grey, amaranth, black or green, and these colours can be chosen to contrast with the upholstery, which is available in leather or fabric, thus creating an unexpected styling effect.
Sheryl padded chair
Design: Giuseppe Viganò
Living every day like a fairy-tale come true: this is the spirit of the Sheryl chair, which bestows an enchanted atmosphere onto any setting and which, thanks to its sinuous and light-weight shapes, is also suitable for use in the bedroom. The continuity between the backrest and the rear legs, comprising a soft slightly curved line, creates an harmonious whole to which the chair adds depth. Sheryl has a solid wood frame and it is upholstered entirely with fabric, leather or eco-leather covers. It stands out for its ornamental border, contrasting or in matching colour.
