2019 is a very important year for Selva, full of big news, as the partnership with important international designers.
The journey of discovery into the outdoor world of Ethimo continues
In the 2019 catalogue, space and the seasons are interpreted in a perfect balance of nature, contemporary design, project culture and emotion, exuding that special Mediterranean mood, embodied in the wonderful atmospheres, warm hues and noble materials that have always inspired the Ethimo outdoor range.
Alongside the more iconic collections, the new entries for 2019 star in an exciting new ‘story’, told through images that feature exceptional scenarios of wellbeing where the furnishings generate unprecedented experiences for elegant, stylish, quality outdoor living.
Ethimo takes us on a stimulating journey, its ‘stages’ represented by unique, extraordinary locations that not only enhance the exclusiveness of its collections, but also express the strong link created between indoors and out.
The sun-drenched scenery of the world’s most beautiful islands and coastlines, often ‘embraced’ in luxuriant, unspoilt vegetation, alternate with fabulous mountain scenes, enchanting gardens, residential gardens, city terraces, and historic architecture.
Places with a wealth of tradition, plus the living and dining areas in prestigious hotels; stimulating ‘frames’ for the Ethimo 2019 collections, suggested lifestyles and different ways of enjoying outdoor spaces that all share constant pursuit of comfort and wellbeing.
The locations chosen for the 2019 catalogue therefore become an exceptional stage for presentation of the new articles. In the limelight, Grand Life, the lounge collection conceived by Christophe Pillet and interpreted by Ethimo to enhance the most refined of outdoor spaces. Followed by Lucerna and Pharos, the lamps designed by Luca Nichetto. Created as outside illumination, they are perfect as decorative elements that add a special touch to gardens and terraces.
The new occasional tables Enjoy and Nicolette stool by Patrick Norguet have instead been designed to meet the frequently more complex, sophisticated functional and furnishing needs of the contract and hospitality sector.
There are also some interesting line extensions, starting with the Ribot chair designed by Marc Sadler, in a lounge version complete with footrest. Knit, the iconic bergère, produced in collaboration with Patrick Norguet, becomes a rocking chair with a traditional feel, yet refined modern look.
New versions of Classic, the patio umbrella, and new outdoor mats make for an ever richer range of articles in 2019, making it even easier to mix and match the various elements and, above all, to create even more welcoming, complete open-air spaces.
With its new 2019 collection, Ethimo continues to create aesthetic ideas, inspirations, moods and tangible sensations. It continues to tell stories of ‘rooms in the open air’ that highlight the unique characteristics of the furnishings they house.
The Ethimo catalogue therefore becomes an exceptional showcase of outdoor articles with pure, balanced shapes, enhanced by fine fabrics, special upholstery, sophisticated finishes, warm colours, natural materials and artisan details.
