Trays by Parisotto + Formenton
During Milan Design Week 2018, Baleri Italia presented new products with strong, contemporary personalities that stem from the first stage of the brand relaunch under the art direction of Aldo Parisotto from P+F Architetti.
They stay true to the company’s DNA and the subtle irony for which its products have always been renowned, while breaking new ground with cutting-edge looks, functionality and versatility, as well as the exceptional quality of the materials and manufacturing.
International names and young designers have been asked to play their part in the development of the new collection with a series of contributions that all fuse exactitude and a refined sense of irony. The vision was to re-establish the brand on the contemporary scene. With Aldo Parisotto coordinating the whole process, each of the designers presented their own, individual take on the identity of the storied brand.
TRAYS, design P+F Architetti
Trays is a selection of upholstered items of furniture for contemporary living areas. It is inspired by 1950s design shapes and conceived to offer highly flexible arrangements for both private settings and hospitality. Simple, clean-cut lines and soft, rounded shapes are some of the distinguishing features of the selection, which includes sofas, armchairs, poufs and dormeuses. The light, suspended structure holds up a tray that supports the seat and the backrest. A distinctive asymmetrical look is produced by the slight difference between this base and the seat cushions.
