Very little time is left until the start of sunny and warmer days.
BACSAC® - Gardens to Go
Bacsacs are new lightweight, durable and recyclable containers that comes in lots of different sizes and shapes.
A Bacsac lets you garden on your rooftop, your balcony or anywhere you want. They're made from a fabric-type material (commonly used for soil or erosion containment) that allows the soil to breathe, and rainwater to be absorbed without evaporating as easily as in a pot. You can easily move a Bacsac when you relocate to a new home (although I'm not sure we'd do it on the roof of a mini!).
For urban gardeners without big planters on their decks, this idea looks nice. Especially if you want to plant a garden without having to commit to building a raised bed. The Bacsac's do look a little industrial, but you can plant a lot more in them than having a bunch of pots.
BACSAC answers the city dweller’s need for nature; new items in flexible, light and portable materials make nature accessible and attractive in the city.
