Interior designers understand how the color, brightness, size of rooms and other elements work together and all these factors influence the design of the room.

There are many mistakes that we make in the design of our space, and we are showing you the top 10 most common.

1. SCALING IN ROOM

Scaling the number of mistake number one.  We mostly  stick to one level, and some people crowd the room withsmall things and doing so they lose a center that will lure the eye. While others have too many big things. Secret to proper scaling is a mixture of different shapes, heights and sizes.

2. PLAN YOUR BUDGET BEFORE BUYING

We are all prone to impulse buying. Of course you should buy it if you fell in love with it, but think before you put it in the cart, consider whether it will  go with your interior the way you need it to. Before going to a furniture shop, have a plan and a well-planned budget. Premer your room, and on the internet you can find many programs in which you can design your room and see if you like the interior. So you have a plan when you go shopping, and your planned budget is not going to exceed. First, plan and buy later.

A big mistake that many make is that they first color their walls. First select the designs, fabrics for your carpets and curtains. It is much easier to first find the fabrics you love, and then the color of the walls that will suit you. Find what you like and when you are happy with your choice of your designs and shades of colors, you can pick up a brush for painting.

7. ADD CHARACTER TO YOUR HOME

Do not get carried away and buy everything in one place, it can happen that your home, after all, looks "flat" and lack the character. Slowly, over time you finish your design, adding the perfect pieces. Be patient. Character can be build adding strange chairs from market, or pictures purchased from a street vendor.

8. ADD FOCUS

Each room should have a focal point that will lure views. This is a common mistake, people mostly forget to give a room the focus. First, find a focal point, and then add the remaining furniture around the focus point. For example, a fireplace, big picture, gaming table or coffee table.

Do you have one of those ugly elements that you have inherited? You will keep it here, because this is the legacy of your grandmother. But sentiment can not hide the ugliness? We suggest that you find a new purpose for all these things. Regardless of whether you give it to someone or sell it and buy something that will make your home more beautiful.

10. SHOW YOUR PERSONALITY IN THE INTERIOR

Your home should be your story, with memories from travel, or love, or life. There's nothing worse than when you enter a home that has white walls, white furniture and daily newspapers on the wall pretending to be art. This place just screams "boring"

Do not be shy when it comes to your interior, every detail of your life will give a home personality that adorns you.
