Henge unveils a new collaboration with Yabu Pushelberg
George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg created the Mushroom Tables collection; metallic coffee tables that feature a physical and visual unexpected lightness, devised as a pair in two complimentary size configurations, together the tables create and whose tops come in different sizes creating dynamic and fluid multiform compositions.
The exclusive fusion process, revealed by the design, unveils a champagne-coloured gloss finish.
Mushroom Tables are the protagonists of an amazing setting located on Solesdì’s second floor, accompanied by the collection designed by Massimo Castagna, creative director of HENGE, whose selection reveals the infinite production possibilities of the company, resulting from the knowhow developed by experienced Italian craftsmen.
HENGE’s latest novelties presented at Solesdì include Stealth, a table standing on an laser-etched net shaped embellished metal structure, featuring an exclusive Web-Grey stone top; the circular Zenith Table in H-Silver® with Stone Cappuccino and Galaxy top, a multi-level composition of organic shapes of various sizes,in black burnished brass, offered with or without fluid engravings. The tables are illuminated by the scenic Air Light chandelier, composed of multiple geometrically imperfect Murano glass elements, positioned next to the wall bookcase Style Set, entirely made of precious StoneOak®, featuring inside elements in three different versions, burnished, glossy and scratched.
“Like us, their work is beyond minimalism, it is more expressive and Henge takes an earthier approach to furniture that has more personality to it. The people behind the Henge brand are lovely and engaging, and a pleasure to collaborate with, - comments Glenn Pushelberg .”
HENGE suggests a cosy yet evocative atmosphere, suspended in a temporal limbo in which design elements are explored carefully and discretely. The brand’s collections offer a new interpretation of the home environment, leaving pleasing spaces of incomplete perfection.
Through its interiors collections, HENGE pays tribute to Italian craftsmanship as well as to the most exclusive finishing, while sharing creative values, product uniqueness and an experimental approach with the world ofart. For HENGE Interior design is art, a creative expression that leaves room to continuous experimentation and incessant improvement.
